A deck is a great addition to your entertainment space. It may increase the value of your property if designer and maintained, but most importantly, it serves as a social gathering place for friends and family. Being exposed to the elements, a deck may suffer from severe weather that may damage the wood. A deck that is neglected may develop problems including mildew, cracks, raised grain, and may become a safety concern. There are many measures that can be taken to protect the decking surface and provide many years of use.

Cleaning a deck on a regular basis is very important using a bio-degradable detergent, applied with a long handled nylon brush is the recommended cleaning between staining. Low pressure power washing is recommended to remove heavy stains and mildew.
